Black Swan - What the fuck was that all about?
Just saw “Black Swan,” a movie everyone’s been gushing about for weeks.
I just don’t get it.
I mean, I get it: She’s crazy, and a dancer, and she’s having crazy delusions, while dancing.
She’s a good girl, but he wants her to be a bad girl, but she’s not a bad girl…
And the whole time I’m watching it going, “can someone stop it with all these metaphores and tell me a freakin’ story!?!”
Does everyone just love this because they think they’re supposed to?
Do girls love it because it feeds into the fantasy that they are ballerinas, and there are bad boys out there that want to prey on them like wolves?
Do guys love it because of the softcore Kundis/Portman pussy-eating scene?
Maybe all of it, I suppose. I dunno. I’m capable of understanding complex films, so you can’t call me stupid for not liking this.
